Why it's OK to blame it on Republicans.

The country was doing great under Bill Clinton. 20 million new jobs, no debt and so on.

Then the Supreme Court put George Bush into office. In only one term, millions of jobs gone, enormous debt and vanished surplus, tens of thousands of factories shut down. Redistribution of wealth to the top 1%. The Iraq debacle. Letting Bin Laden go. Tens of thousands of Americans maimed and killed.

And that was only the first term. The second was even more destructive. A ruined economy and rapidly growing unemployment.

Republicans used reconciliation three times. They had no one to blame but the GOP.

And then Obama because president. Auto industries saved. The economy has bounced back. Bin Laden is dead. The DOW is sky high. Unemployment at 5%. More people joining the workforce. Millions more jobs going unfilled.

And what have Republicans done to help during the last 7 years? Obstruction. Lies. Attempts to bring more damage. Voter suppression.

Sure, America is fed up. But it's because of the GOP they are fed up. Low information voters see the government as the problem and not the GOP. It's when the GOP was in charge of the government that we had all those disasters.

Bernie Sanders says we need a revolution. We don't need a revolution. We need Republicans out of office so we can continue to fix their disasters. Bernie will only make matters worse.

rdean is into victimhood. I'll bet he also blames the makers of Lay's Potato Chips for fat people.

I don't think it's Republicans or Democrats, in themselves. It's the Wall Street rich folk who really run this country and the rest of the world. We are on the verge of another proletariat revolution, where the rich took things too far and the unhappy masses are going to try to take what they are owed. Pretty cool.
And no, I'm not voting for Sanders.

NAFTA and Bill "drop trou" was president when the internet hit. Clinton is and always has been a socialist. Jesuit trained at Georgetown and was made an establishment insider by the Rockefeller cabal. You have absolutely no clue on how anything works. You are simply a partisan shill....nothing more or less.

Does us no good to vote out Republicans in 2016 but the put them back in 2020 when people don't show up to vote.

Midterms are Republicans secret weapon. It's our own fault

Only so much Obama can do in 2008&9 and even less when Republican obstructionists are rewarded with low voter turnout in 2010

bill clinton had the Republicans in congress balance the budget for him...and lucked out that Reagan created the biggest job growth boom that extended through clinton's 2 terms......it was so good that it took clinton 2 terms to end it....

Also...Reagan defeated the Soviet Union that finally collapsed when clinton got into office......and took the credit for the economy created by that collapse......

Had the recession he created held off a few months longer, clinton would have been able to blame Bush for it....but it hit right at the end of clinton's disasterous 2 terms.....

Then of course al gore couldn't win his own state or clinton's home state and lost the election....so he had to try to steal it from Bush.....

democrats......they take the credit when they don't deserve it......and spread the blame for their own mistakes .....

Bernie will only make matters worse.

speaking of credit where credit isn't due ...

A crane removes a section of the Berlin Wall on November 11, 1989, as West Berliners watch. (AP)
On Wednesday, Berlin unveiled a plaque in honor of the 25th anniversary of Ronald Reagan's speech demanding that Mikhail Gorbachev "tear down this wall," delivered June 12, 1987. It was an exquisite, powerful, and truly historic moment worthy of commemoration. But Reagan's sometimes-overeager boosters are making some bold claims about the role that both this speech and its deliverer played in the course of world history, another example of the ways that the politics of today are distorting our memory of one of the most complicated conflicts of the 20th century.

Every time I hear a Trump supporter chant "Build The Wall," I think of that moment. So ironic, what we've become.

That is so ridiculous. Wall Street, big business, corporations are all as American as apple pie. They exist to MAKE MONEY. Government is supposed to protect the middle class from the excess of big business. Republicans want to destroy government so big business can rip off the middle class. That's why big business pays the GOP leadership to screw us over. If they had integrity, they wouldn't. But even the GOP base knows better.
At the same time, government is supposed to protect big business from hostile corporations and hostile countries like China. So they can compete fairly.
Asswipes like Bernie Santa's try to blame the corporations.
Can you imagine the millions of jobs we would lose doing what Bernie wants? The disaster a revolution would bring. The damage to the economy? Following Bernie is following a doddering old man over a cliff.
Bernie is worse. He will destroy everything. Republicans will only destroy the environment and the middle class. One is cancer, the other is AIDS. There is no cure for AIDS. Cancer is iffy.

They don't deserve what Republicans have brought them.

There is a reason Bush isn't welcome at the GOP convention. No one says it, every one knows it.

He was a big government big spender. And he loved illegals.

Wow, 'stupid', 'ignorant' & 'lack of accountability' are distinctive traits for Liberals. Once again it time to educate liberals while erasing their attempt to re-write history!

George Bush added $2.5 Trillion in new debt his 1st 6 (SIX) years with a split political power-sharing Congress, DURING 9/11/01, the economic aftermath, and during 2 Wars. For this Obama called Bush 'Un-Patriotic'.
- Compare that to Obama, who added almost $7 TRILLION in only his 1st 4 years in office.

Liberals say the economy began it's nose-dive the last 2 years under Bush. I could not agree more. Liberals took over Congress ... and the budget, spending, and the economy. Yup, the last 2 years was all in the Liberals' hands, as they were 5 seats shy of a Super majority. In those last 2 years they added $1.5 Trillion - just $1 trillion shy of what Bush had added in the 6 previous years - in new debt with their spending.

Obama did not inherit any economy from Bush - he was handed the economy his fellow Democrats had created for him.

After having called Bush un-Patriotic for $4 trillion in new debt over 8 years 9only really being responsible for $2.5 of that), Obama and his fellow near-Super majority liberal controlling Congress added nearly $7 trillion in new debt in ONLY 4 (FOUR) Years.
- If Bush was 'Un-Patriotic' for adding $4 trillion in 8 years, Obama having nearly doubled Bush's debt addition - almost $7 trillion in only 4 years, would make Obama, comparatively, something far worse...like a traitor.

Obama's 1st economy-impacting bill, the nearly $1 trillion Failed Stimulus Bill, came out to be equal to almost half of what Bush had added over 6 YEARS - $2.5 trillion compared to nearly $1 trillion. This nightmare contained over 7,000 pieces of self/party-serving DNC-Only pork and ended up costing tax payers over $742,000 PER JOB Obama claimed to have created / saved.

Obama set new U.S. records for most 'monthly', 'annual', and 'total' deficit spending, AND he single-handedly secured the 1st US Credit Rating downgrade in our nation's history.

Preventing libs from re-writing history, one day at a time.....
