This is no surprise. President Obama is not well known for standing by the U.S. Constitution. In his own words, he has described it as being a "flawed" document.

Except that he didn't say that, now did he?

The goal of his administration, and the radicals he surrounds himself with, is to "fundamentally transform" the country. These were also his own words, used on the campaign trail less than a week before he was elected. If he succeeds, it wouldn't be long before the United States looked more like a socialist European nation, than a free one.

There is no such thing as separation of church and State in the constitution.

There is nothing unconstitutional about the National Day of Prayer.

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

National Day of Prayer does not establish any religion nor prohibits any religion.

Here is appealing a ruling that struck down national day of prayer and it seems to be a growing pattern that this man ignores the constitution a lot. If he would just check the enumerated powers clause he would see that congress has no power to create this kind of legislation.

The federal government simply doesn't have the power to create these kind of holidays for any reason whatsoever. How hard is it to read a four page document Mr. President?
