Why is Jack Smith so worried about an election? Justice is blind, right?

Justice is also swift

Justice delayed is justice denied

Delaying the trial is just a desperate play by Trump and his supporters in hopes that he is elected President and thus will pardon himself.

Which is not why the founding fathers gave the president that ability.

Of course even if Trump was found guilty, republicans can still vote for him.

Anyway justice is blind because it suppose to be fair and not bias when it comes to a trial

Explain that to those from Jan 6 still waiting for their day in court, vermin.

there is no crime, no victim In any “case” they have manufactured.//

Trump taking classified document home is a crime. Presidents do have the security clearance but former presidents do not retain that clearance after leaving office

It is based on the "need to know" premise. Once Trump leaves office there is no longer a need to know

Yes someone can grant that need the know to him but no one did that.

So Trump did commit a crime when he took classified documents home

The argument for declassification is not valid. Just because he thinks it is does not make it so. The entity that placed the classification can challenge declassification and present a case that it still needs to be classified.

Trump showing these documents to his friends is a crime as they do not have the necessary security clearance in his home after leaving office

He then refused to return all the documents when asked to do so which is obstruction

His efforts to overturn the election is also a crime, sending fake electors to vote for him in the electoral college

13 counts in the Georgia election interference case which is a strong case

then there is the federal case for various infraction concerning his efforts to overturn the election

The New Your case is a civil case. Crying that there is no victim does not mean anything as the law in this case does not require one.

What voter wouldn’t want to see the trial concluded before election?

It simple with a estimated 1000 arrested.

Since this is in the DC federal district court there are only 21 judges

So there case load was dramatically increased . They had the J6 rioters cases and any other federal cases that had to be heard

so generally it was case overload

Most were not arrested on the day of the riot. Some had to be identified and tracked down

Rough estimate of about 1000 people were charged and it does take time but don't worry they will get to you soon

about 600 had some type of resolution

some are on the run

the rest are awaiting trial and sentencing

This 'there was no victim' claim.
BS...... ^

You get caught drinking and driving, well over the legal limit.
You don't get in a wreck or cause anyone or anything any damage.

You go to court with your DUI ticket in hand.
You Scream at the Judge, "There is NO victim"

Good Luck with that.

Next......tell us how 'that's different'........ it's NOT.

Any voter who believes in due process and not kangaroo courts.
Sit your dumb ass down. The very notion that there is complete immunity for a president goes against everything America stands for, namely that nobody is above the law. Trump making such a claim shows you that he's nuts.

It's straight up election interference. Thwarting the will of the American electorate should be considered treason - a capital offense.

Air drop it into Venezuela and let it enjoy all the amenities of a 3rd-world shithole that imprisons the political opposition.

That's why Trump is under indictment, trying to thwart the will of the people.

Wrong,

I suggest they might very well wish to side with Smith. But for very different reasons. Your reasoning is illogical and actually kind of absurd.

And when both the Persecutor and the defendant agrees, the impediment to granting the application (at this premature stage) is unlikely to be the Parties. It is likely to be the SCOTUS itself.

There really is no rush.

There you go again...

Wrong! - "The statement said: "As President Trump has said over and over again, this prosecution is completely politically motivated… There is absolutely no reason to rush this Witch Hunt to trial, except to injure President Trump and his 150 million, at least, supporters.""

Donald Trump Rages at Supreme Court Granting Jack Smith's Wish.

How and by what would Trump and his supporters be injured? By truth? By facts? By a verdict based on evidence?

Your reasoning is lacking in reason.
