Why hasn't the ruble collapsed yet?

Any major power that is self sufficient -- only the Russian Federation is -- can never go under because the outside exchange rate is irrelevant if there are no imports .
And a falling currency simply helps exports in existing markets and promotes entry into new markets .
Read and learn .
Russia has never been self-sufficient because of Moscow power. This is an ordinary export economy, the currency board works there. They do not have financial independence like the European Union and the USA, they do not have the right to finance the government if they do not receive foreign exchange earnings. In fact, the Ruble is covered by foreign currency and always depreciates.
But now they seem to be printing a lot of unsecured rubles for the "special operation". Frauds are going on, the rate is about 10 times lower than inflation.

Russia is having a recession and has plenty of goods so prices are not inflating like in the US where we are not having a recession and have a shortage of goods.
This is absolute nonsense. There are no goods in the Russian Federation, there is a large shortage, and goods are not delivered on orders for about six months. All goods that are available are of the lowest quality.

Today, the ruble fell quite sharply. There are 2.3 points left to the psychological mark of 100. I'll make good money shorting the ruble, I'm sure of it.

Now the central bank is trying to save the ruble from collapse with huge interventions. Soon they will deplete the entire gold reserves, and the ruble will fall to its real value, about 40-50 times lower. It will be the collapse of the regime.
