This is a great article about the benefits of Thorium nuclear power. Of course, our government does not want to spend the money to develop this already proven technology because they would rather spend our tax money on subsidizing costly solar panels and wind mill generators.
What this article fails to tell is that Thorium nuclear waste is only 300 years radioactive versus thousands of years for the uranium waste of current nuclear power plants, AND the uranium waste of current nuclear plants CAN be used to fuel Thorium reactors which will burn the uranium fuel down to a 300 year radioactive time line---OH!! Maybe this is the answer to the nuclear waste concerns and a technology that will supply all of the earth's energy needs??
Truth is the environmental wackos don't want anything to do with Thorium power because it's nuclear
