Usually, the left separates brown, black and white people. They make exceptions when a brown person commits a crime. Then it's necessary to change them into white people to fit their narrative. While they couldn't change the name, they did change the color. Maybe they figure that many of their low info supporters can't read and will just look at pics.

For those who actually read. Some people seem to be headline watchers but don't bother with details. And his name is not in the headlines. It's a lightened pic and he is referred to as the Ft. Lauderdale shooter.
