Why does Kerry think we should live in a dictatorship?

I think if we have 'faith' in our government then we are really saying that they can do whatever they want without us questioning its actions. We have faith in God and the result is we don't question God's actions (Noah's flood) or are critical of them especially when they harm us. A good example is Noah's flood. It just sets us up to allow our elected officials to do whatever they want without us questioning or being critical of their decisions. It sounds undemocratic since it removes the people's ability to disagree with those actions. Does John Kerry and others think that democratic government should be cut off from the people's influence? It sounds more like a dictatorship at that point.
