But in 1967 LBJ made the US a welfare state. So now individuals acquire rights upon entering the US.

I support open borders but those come here must have the means to support themselves. It should not be a taxpayer responsibility.

Many nations try to educate & reduce population explosions to create a better quality of life for it's citizens. Then bordering countries like Mexico do nothing but breed like rabbits, little education & their population explodes across the border completely destroying all progress.

Then there is the whole welfare issue.

There needs to be a $50k express citizenship fee for anyone who wants to become a citizen of this great nation. Everyone else must wait their turn or not come at all.

Many countries in Europe do just fine without all the crap that goes on here. People in Mexico, Canada and the US cross the border every day to work and/or shop and then go home. Ride the high speed trains and talk to the people who commute across country borders.

Drive through Costco parking lots in Tucson and count the Mexico plates. Or, visit Nogales and other Mexican border towns on a weekday and see the cars from the US.

We already bear a heavy burden and it's growing in leaps and bounds since Obama began encouraging a flood of illegal immigration. No borders would mean we would really get raked over the coals until we had nothing left.

No wonder people are getting upset. This group of protesters blocked three buses carrying illegals into California. Enough is enough. There is a legal way to immigrate and we need to uphold it.
