i think the issue here is that the right has to cater to the religious conservatives who look down upon anything that has to with sex or sexuality. in essence what Weiner did was have an affair (thats even a loose interpretation). its his private life, im sure every politican has demons that are embarrassing. should we have full disclosure on every single decision that every politician has ever made in his life? if that were the case, im sure we wouldnt want any of the current politicians in office, as they have all probably made a poor choice at some point in their life. should evaluate them based on only their bad decisions or should they be evaluated on their performance while in office? since its is only the people of his district who get a say in this, they should be the only ones whos opinions matter.
