Why are junior members retiring from Congress?

    Another interesting read. But, perhaps this is good. We are finding fewer people who plan on spending their entire lives in the halls of Congress. Perhaps they will bring their experiences there to the “real world” where the rest of us live. Read the full story @ Why are junior members retiring from Congress?

    Perhaps people are beginning to take seriously the founders belief that service in House or Senate ought to be a brief interruption to one's regular career to keep freedom alive rather than subject the citizenry to becoming mere serfs to an elite ruling class.

    I know....should be posted under "Forlorn Hopes" but that forum seem to have gone missing.

    Perhaps because they can earn much more dough as lobbyist once they do their time on the hill.
