A. This is in Thailand, not the U.S.

B. If they aren't hurting me directly I don't care what they do or how they choose to live. Why do you?

So you went out and deliberately searched for something to offend you and then whine about it being shoved in your face?

Really?

Fascinating.

Homosexuality would barely make a blip on this forum or in real life if you homophobes weren't so busy shoving it in our faces several. Times. A. Day.

Right, because that's how this works. We're the ones shoving a lifestyle in YOUR faces.

If polygamous gay marriage is good enough for Thailand it's good enough for us. Sort of like Thai child brothels.

Once a society starts on the road of depravity it doesn't stop until the end.

They'll destroy your argument by screaming "Slippery slope fallacy!"

Because that's what it is.

Next, the drunk dog washer will say if gays are allowed to marry, people will soon be marrying their piano.

Dear 1stRambo
g5000 makes a good point, this seems distracting from real issues to make one out of a photo from Thailand.

Why not take on a real issue of gay marriage that IS affecting every state in this nation?

Why detract from that and just spread negative perceptions that the opposition is from "homophobia"
instead of focusing on Constitutional issues of personal beliefs and states' rights?

Luddly Neddite
No, but the Constitutional argument can be made
if pushing traditional marriage is imposing beliefs that violate separation of church and state,
why isn't pushing gay marriage imposing beliefs that violate separation of church and state.

Why are Democrats and Liberals discriminating against one creed
while proclaiming another? Why doesn't separation of church and state
apply to secular and political beliefs equally as religious beliefs?
Why this discrimination by creed? Instead of equal protections of the law?

1stRambo ^ see an example of why it is critical
to stick to the Constitutional arguments and not get sidetracked by who is pro or anti-gay

If the issue is political creed, and not favoring one belief over another,
then Constitutional defenses can be made that DON'T discriminate by belief,
and this can force the govt to keep the issue of marriage out of the state and leave it to the people.

And that's the best of what will happen.
