In a Republic, actually
“In their stoic grandeur, the panel’s proceedings seem directed at a single goal: holding Trump accountable for his high crimes. In our continuing need to understand how the United States of America could have made such a man president, the still-democratic majority keeps hoping that if we present one more piece of proof, if his own people testify against him, then his supporters will come to their senses and the union can survive.

But as William Faulkner warned in Life magazine 66 years ago, the mindset we now call MAGA is impervious to reason or consequences.”

Of course, Trump’s supporters won’t come to their senses and the union will remain in peril – no matter the facts, no matter the proof.

You morons are so full of shit. The election was stolen. We all KNOW this to be true. Even little joey Z told us about it.

Oh no, the union is in peril, because you want democracy right? That’s why you want to eliminate the electoral college. The Supreme Court isn’t going your way, therefore we must pack the court. You can’t get 60 senators to go along with your bullshit so the filibuster has to be removed.

Every damn thing you support is a direct attack on the republic. And you have the fucking balls to roll in here worrying about the republic you’re trying to destroy?

Go fuck yourself you self righteous prick. We’re protecting the republic from you assholes.

Dems steal the election then everything goes to hell under their stupid policies. Sky high gas and food prices. Shortages. Sinking stock market. Pending recession. And Dems they think anyone cares about their non-stop Trump witch hunt? Talk about living in a bubble. It's going to be an historic backlash this Nov.

Meanwhile Trump just smiles and says, "I told you so".

Trump really isn't a Republican. He's more of an indpendent not affiliated with the Independent party.

He initially stated when he sought to run for election, that it was easier to run if he affiliated with a large party.
And the only party that aligned with most of his values was the Republican party. The Libertarians were just a bit over the top for him, and running as an Independent would be more hassle than it's worth.

Trump is actually a RINO, but the opposite of what a DemonicRat RINO is, and not quite as politically stiff as many of the Repubs are. He claimed he was going to start his own political party.......I wish he would. Don't know why he hasn't as of yet.

Marie Antionette had a better tuned political ear and look how it ended for her

On the flip side, Democrats have turned this country into Nazi Germany where you can abuse your power to round up your political enemies, charge them with crimes, and put them away. Any crime will do, even if it is just stealing a beer out of Pelosi's fridge. Just round up any and all you can and make it so that they cannot run for office again, guaranteeing that your Nazi party will stay in power forever. Then we can have "democratic" elections like Russia and Venezuela do and call it "Democratic Socialism".
