Why would Jordan, a country of indigenous Bedouins that had already received enough Palestinians to threaten their majority status accept more? I don't get your point.
Because that is what the mandate said was to be the outcome, and being 4 times the size of Israel and with less than half of the population they could very easily absorb the arab muslim deserters. By the way the ruler of Jordan was neither Palestinian nor Bedouin, he was an arab and was given the land so he did not feel left out.
