Well, as I have been pointing out for quite a while now, government spending is a big part of the US GDP.

That's why Deficit Donald has been exploding our debt, in order to artificially juice the GDP.

Government spending is now about 21 percent of our economy. That's one-fifth.

So of course if you shut the government down, that will impact US GDP.

Continuing budget resolutions, instead of budgets create these situations. Best way to limit federal powers at this time is a Constitutional Balanced Budget Amendment AND Constitutional term limits on Congress.

Congress writes the budget. Where is the budget? All the more urgent that Nancy and Schumer do their jobs now and write a budget which includes the needed funding for the wall that Trump was elected to build and ran on! Quit holding up the nation, Democrats!
