It appears that the entire Houston Texan team is going to engage in some sort of demonstration prior to today's game against Seattle because of idiotic Trump like remarks the owner made about the players.

We would hope that Trump will consider this a national emergency and get V.P. Pence on a plane to Seattle pronto, so that he can walk out if this demonstration takes place inside the stadium and is visible by fans. It's important that Trump support this owner, who appears to be very much a Trump fan. Bigly

Fortunately or unfortunately - depending on your own perspective, there is an informal blackout on these demonstrations. The cameras are pointed somewhere else, or there is a commercial going on or we are looking at talking heads while the demonstration goes on.

Like it or not, 99 percent of the revenue that funds the NFL comes from working-class white people, which demographic happens to be the very same demographic that elected Our Exalted President. And "we" have a reaction to these demonstrations that runs the gamut from hostility to indifference. "Support" is not in evidence.

So these misguided yoots can do whatever they like, and no one will be watching or caring what they do. It won't even be covered on ESPN.
