Four rapists walk into a bar. Each of them rape one person. One rapist is white and wealthy. One rapist is white and poor. One rapist is black and wealthy. One rapist is black and poor.

Two of them got seven years. The other two got 35 years. Guess which two got the harsher sentence.

A student at a top US university whose six-month jail sentence for sexually assaulting an unconscious woman in 2015 was widely criticised for being too lenient has been released from prison.

Brock Turner, 21, who was a swimming champion, assaulted the woman outside a Stanford University fraternity house.

He was freed from the Santa Clara County Main Jail in San Jose, California, after serving three months.

Brian Keith Banks is a former American football player. He signed with the Atlanta Falcons of the National Football League (NFL) on April 3, 2013. Banks signed as an undrafted free agent with the Las Vegas Locomotives of the United Football League (UFL) in 2012.

Banks was a standout high school football star at Polytechnic High School (Poly) in Long Beach, California. In 2002, his Junior year, Banks verbally committed to USC. After being falsely accused of rape by classmate Wanetta Gibson, he spent close to six years imprisoned and five years on parole. In 2012, his conviction was overturned when his accuser confessed that she had fabricated the entire story.

Innocent people always get convicted. How can you build a defense when there is nothing to defend? This thread is about people who actually committed the crime. It is easier to defend yourself when you know every single detail and you had time to plan to get away with it.
