This test is too simple to identify a persons political ideology.

I'm a left leading libertarian migrating into a philosophical cynic.

I don't need any half assed internet test to know that.

The more I learn the more I understand that there's too much to know to KNOW anything, really.

How I long for the days of my youthful ignorance that lead me to believe I really KNEW things.

"Liberal" is misnomer. This is what would be called a "Social Democrat" everywhere else in the world.

Eh, either way the test was too short. There was no nuance to it. I'm a Social Democrat in the pragmatic sense; I'll always be a Libertarian Socialist at heart though.

    Who would have thought?
    Libertarian
Libertarians support maximum liberty in both personal and economic matters. They advocate a much smaller government; one that is limited to protecting individuals from coercion and violence. Libertarians tend to embrace individual responsibility, oppose government bureaucracy and taxes, promote private charity, tolerate diverse lifestyles, support the free market, and defend civil liberties.

It scored me as a narco-libertarian and I am anything but. The test was stupid. What does "end corporate welfare" mean?

Thats the trouble with all these test, Rabbi.

They load them up with buzz phases that are meaningless.

You are MORE than a label.

    All of us are.

But if they can get us to label ourselves, they can get us to hate other people who are labeled.

People are way more complex, their views of the world way more subtle than the political claptrap they're feeding us.

Labeling other people is a grand way of stopping us from thinking about REAL issues.

    Most of us are.
Some people are just idiots. We don't disagree here.

I could argue the questions 3 different ways and come up with 3 different answers, landing me either liberal, conservative or whatever.

    Such as:
Pot? Sure go ahead, make that legal. Coke? While not legal, sure go ahead and decriminalize it for the end user (not the same as making it legal). Pills? Same as coke. Meth, herion, etc? Man, there's a reason we need to keep that shit off the streets as much as possible.

No nuance to the quiz. Therfore I am d) ALL OF THE ABOVE.
