I'm sure there are things she knows how to do well, selling herself as a brand is obviously one of them. And good for her, I have no problem with the woman getting ahead as long as she stays out of any public office that can affect my life. But the President isn't a celebrity, which I was under the impression was a big part of many on the right's beef with Obama. She would be tasked with, among other things, running the nation's foreign policy. If she knows more than the average fifth grader in that regard, she certainly hasn't shown it publicly. I also don't think her confrontational, to be honest very shrill and deliberately offensive style of communication makes for effective leadership, ineffective leadership being one of the beefs I have with Obama.

But that's the beauty of it. You can have your opinion and I can have mine.

but the GOP was no better in congress with bush than the dems now or before
