Probably the best measure is that the population growth rate has been declining in most of the world. The exception is Africa which is expected to be home to 4.1 billion inhabitants by the end of the century.

The climate changes all the time, sometimes it goes through periods of warming and then cooling. And it is true I think that since the last ice age the planet has been warming if you look at it over the past 15,000 years or so. But the main disagreement today is how much has the Earth warmed over that time AND how much more since the Industrial Revolution some 250 years ago. IOW, how of an impact has been due anthropogenic (man-caused). IMHO, most honest scientists would would agree that PROBABLY some additional global warming MAY have occurred due recent human activities, but scientists are not supposed to accept unproven theories as fact, and anthropogenic GW is unproven. And since there is no proof as to the extent of the warming or the causes, we are left with computer models that input data, parameters, and certain algorithms to arrive at forecasts of future climate change. But those models and their results have been challenged for their accuracy and integrity manly due to the enormous amounts of money involved and the politics involved.

One need look no further than the results of the computer models over the past 30 years or so to see that they have ALL been wrong. Every time. We have heard claim after claim of impending doom for humanity that never happened. How can I assume that the same claims made today are any different? How can I support the expenditures of HUGE amounts of money to fix a problem when the fixes themselves are unproven to make any difference AND the problem itself may not be as disastrous as claimed? How can I trust the people making such claims who are asking for so much money and control of our economy? Answer: I can't. And won't.

There is no evidence of the weather heating up so fast in historic records ( 1 degree per century).
That said the Earth has coped with much larger temperature changes. ( there were no ice caps during the Jurassic period for example) . While Earth and the biosphere can adapt , we have no evidence that humans can adapt to such weather changes.
