What trends do you find absurd?

All this trashing of ghetto culture got me missing my old neighborhood so I sent the bf out to get me some malt liquor. I'm hoping he can find me a 40 in this neighborhood.

I don't think there's any trends that I truly hate, there are however many trends I find somewhat amusing to outright hilarious. I mean if people don't mind looking stupid they shouldn't mind if I'm rolling on the floor busting a gut.

DJs instead of live bands (good one, enough said)

Imports with a wing on the back so big that you would have to be doing 200 MPH to need that much downforce. (they look like shopping carts and sound like lawn mowers)

Mochaccino double frothy, cinnamon liquefied, Latte skinny, scooped espresso with just a dash of swirl line dwellers. (I never drank coffee until the Navy, and I was 18, and it was always Black and Bitter. Now I meet 13 year olds who can't tell me how many states comprise the USA, but can tell me the difference between Indian Chai and Columbian Super Roast.)

And my own...Ball caps with straight bills...I was a rancher's son and a baseball player and we curved our bills so the sun would stay out of our eyes. now they keep them factory straight and to the side.

Backwards upside down visors....

Spinners......

Cars with so much bass that it rattles like a tin lunch box....

Pick up trucks with the front end sitting way high and the back end dragging on the ground....

Cars with an exaust the size of a coffee can that sound like a box of pissed off hornets.....

Guys with huge holes in their earlobes.....

Chick with WAY too many piercings.....

People COVERED with tatoos. [except this one]

Speak out and tell everyone what "trends" you HATE!!!

adding 22's 24's and balls dangling from pickups ... lol

bras that show...either due to the top they are wearing or the undies are colored under light colored pants or shirt.

men with no shirts, in public (yes the internet is public)....have i mentioned this before....

people that chew gum

drivers who signal what the car in front of them is doing...never got that

the trend i have noticed...people who ask you something then continue to talk over you...i simply stop talking

Well, about people covered in tattoos - got nothing against that and actually, I love good-creative-tattoo-covered boys/girls... Actually, I want my boyfriend to get a full sleeve - come on, nice, lean, muscular arms covered in awesome tattoos? What IS better and hotter? Not much else :) I think on some it looks beyond hot (on others not so much). I myself would love to have a half-sleeve or a large back tattoo... (once I can afford it and know exactly what I want, I'm going for it, btw.)

One trend that is actually a bit annoying here in Sweden, although I couldn't say I 'hate' it, is the weird stripper-shoe trend. All of a sudden it is really 'in' to wear these huge 6-9 inch heel platform stiletto-heel shoes. Not only is it extremely uncomfortable to walk in, but it does look like a part of true prostitute's uniform... it's hard to take a girl/woman with these shoes on seriously. Of course, fetish-club situation is different... stilleto shoes are part of the fetish scene... that's where I'd like to keep them.

What actually disturbs me a little about this trend is the underage girls wearing them... I wonder what their parents are thinking buying them these things.

Yup when your old and gray, wrinkly and out of shape those tattoos will really rock.

The trend I hate the most? The lefts desire to make a failed political system called socialism work. I mean really, it has not worked anywhere ever and the left just loves it cause golly gee, we are so much better then those that failed, we will make it work.
