What Makes Poor People Poor? - Special Segment

Capitalism's natural rate of making Persons Poor.
Ignorance in the extreme and massive failure.

Capitalism increases wealth for all and decreases poverty

Proven fact despite the ignorance from sources like yours
In right wing fantasy, you are always right. 1929 already happened.

Yes and the consequences were made worse by fdr.

It has nothing to do with right or left wing and only a foolish left winger would view it as such.
The fact remains capitalism builds wealth for all and decreases poverty despite what left wing fools espouse.

we transitioned from a relative third world economy to our first world economy via FDR's brand of socialism.

FDR prolonged the depression with his socialistic new deal.
War manufacturing and energy abundance made us into an economic superpower.

The Command Economics of a wartime economy.

No we did not

We became a first world superpower because of capitalism

Fdr only slowed down the transition

Like any left winger you have to use revisionist history to defend your failed ideas.
In right wing fantasy, you can make up anything you want and still be right.

That would make you a right winger

Wrong we began that long before FDR and he merely slowed down the transition

In a nutshell? Liberal Victimhood. If you can stop believing that you are a victim, then you too can use God's gift to lift yourself out of poverty. I did it, Ben Carson did it, even Morgan Freeman(God) did it.

That cant be right. Some of the poorest people in the US are conservatives.

so to stay on topic I ask you guys to at least watch the video first

I dont need to watch the video. You already said you thought it was liberal victimhood. if your video doesnt support that then why did you say that?

I didnt say anything

You agreed with the fool that said...."In a nutshell? Liberal Victimhood." If you didnt really agree why did you do that?

leftist do play the victim card a lot.

Link didn't work for me.

The question is not: What makes poor people poor? It is: Is there any way to avoid being poor?

To paraphrase Ben Shapiro, (1) finish high school, (2) get a job (any job), and (3) don't have kids before you get married. If you do those three things, there is a very small chance you will be poor initially and remain poor.

Many factors can make "middle class" people poor:

Death of a spouse,
Medical bills,
Other personal catastrophe,
Having kids and no husband,
Not having a job,
Substance abuse.

Lord knows, starting life as an "emancipated single adult" today can put you behind the 8-ball. I pity people who don't have any family to help them get started. (Although my family gave me squat).

Glad I'm past that stage of my life.

What's "poor" though? I'll say, I like Dve Ramsey. You can't argue with his methods, they work. I did the financial peace university class. It's a good class. Ate my share of rice and beans, but define "poor". Is it not being able to eat out every night? Most poor people in this country do that. Is not being poor having more then one 50" Flat screen TV? Most poor folks have that in this country. In the US, most poor people check their food stamp balance on their smart phone. Most poor people have cars. When we say "poor" what do we mean?

Being poor in America is being the middle class class in countries like the Philippines...

What the Progressive most likely mean when they scream about the poor is someone that can not buy what they want on a open credit limit while the taxpayer pays for it...

Our poor have it too good in many ways compared to the poor in India, Mexico or China...

If you are using credit to buy stuff then you are poor. Most poor folks I know got a capital one credit card after they turned 18 with a $1,000 credit limit. That was the beginning of being poor for most of us.

Think of this way in Mexico your credit limit for the poor is how much dope you can haul over to the U.S. for the cartel and maybe you get paid if the cartel does not rape your family before shooting you...

Yeah, I pity the poor here as much as I pity Hitler supporters... To clarify I have no pity for either...

There is also the fact that in this country, one can basically roll out of bed and make a legal buck. Talking to the old man and my Ma, that's why they came here, the opportunities. My dad began his life as an American gutting fish in Alaska. In a year he owned a brand new white Cadillac. Ones like the pimps used to drive.

well i sure can give you one way to NOT be poor....

getting millions of dollars from your rich daddy to start life out with.

like donny got from fred.
please stay on topic

i thought i was.
no it was an incoherent rant by a kool-aid drinker
He made a valid and factual point.

the only thing factual is he has a bad case of TDS,,,

you miss the point about a first world economy simply being more expensive.

No one is trying to convince.

You are well known for rejecting valid fact based argument

Typical post for you after being proven wrong by valid facts
