    L.A. County passes sweeping ban on plastic bags | L.A. NOW | Los Angeles Times

    Which means they are going to force those lead poisoned reusable bags on everyone!

    I TOLD YOU!

    And what did I report Monday? The reusable bags are contaminated with lead!

    http://www.usmessageboard.com/gener...able-grocery-bags-contaminated-with-lead.html

    Liberals are not happy unless they are controlling every part of YOUR lives. Even when you go to the freaking grocery store.

    This from the very liberals that claim they ARE for choice. But ONLY if you decide to kill your own kid.

    You want paper or plastic? Uh uh! Liberals are going to decide that for you! YOU aren't allowed to choose.

    Like I said before. Few people remember that plastic bags were eco nuts idea in the FIRST PLACE because paper bags "took too many trees."

    Then their bright idea turned out not to biodegrade so well.

    Now, there is a solution for their solution.

    What next, after they decide those reusables put lead in our soil when they finally are thrown away?

    :lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

    The only problem is, that land of kooks is about 25 years ahead of the rest of the country when it comes to liberals.

    I want to school there in the 70s. The liberalism I saw there in the 70s is now SOP for public schools everywhere.

    The only way to stop this liberal creep is to recognize it and stop it before it becomes SOP (Standard Operating Procedure).

    Do you have another link for the lead contaminated bags? The one you linked to is a video about Natalie Holloway.

    They're banning plastic bags? Guess there's going to be a lot of dog poo laying on the ground out there.

    We should be encouraging them to live like Al Gore, use 17x more electricity than the average American household and waste more resources than anyone else, certainly contaminating the soil and killing themselves with lead will destroy all their credibility. Let them continue. :lol:

    I thought conservatives liked the idea of government power being more at the state or local level than the federal government.

    Yes, because it's easier to go after local governments when they screw us than when Federal governments do. That doesn't mean we agree with everything they do.

    Was there a vote? Did the public get a say in this fuckover? Or did the benevolent liberal-progressive government just pass this law for the peoples own good?

    You know who else passed laws for the peoples own good?

    Every
    Communist
    Socialist
    Dictator
    Known to man.

    Congrats. Now you know.

    Let me see if I understand;

    We had to stop using paper bags b/c we were running out of trees. Yet we had enough trees to feed clintons housing bubble.

    There was no choice of using recycled paper. So we went to plastic.

    Those plastic bags can be recycled, but they are not, apparently, being recycled.

    So the fix to that was to go to other, expensive, bags that, many, contain lead. The same or simular kind of lead that we can't use in paint (some kids ate that paint, so I'm good with that).

    so now, when these bags wear out, and they will, b/c there is no money in making things that last long term, we will have lead being dumped.

    ooo weee

    What's the fix to that?

    I got asked at the store if I wanted my stuff bagged in paper or plastic. I said "I'd prefer a low-density polyethelyn containment device". LOL- big blank stare on that one.
