What do you think of hockey?

This amateurish brawling is foolishness compared with MMA.

So if you want to watch fighting watch MMA not ice hockey.

The only time I really paid attention to soccer was that Lance Donovan was from our town in the day then.
The only time I pay attention to it is in the last game of the championship when one team is in position to win it all.

Otherwise I don't tune in until one team has won 3 games out of 7.

Same with NBA though. And also world series MLB baseball.

I like the sudden death of the NFL playoffs best of all.

If one is watching pro hockey for the fights, they are missing most of the fun. See, the fights are, generally, part of an overall strategy. Often times a player will instigate a fight in order to shift the momentum of the game, or to let the other team/player know that what they have been doing will not be tolerated. In MMA, all you have is two people bludgeoning each other for cash. No thanks, I'd rather wait outside a local bar and wait for a bar fight to erupt, much more entertaining to see a bunch of drunken fools try to fight.

Soccer is a kids' game anyway.
I think there's the only country in the world where people think so :)
That's because most of us in the USA played soccer as kids, and our kids played it too.

Then we advance to baseball, basketball, track, and football.

Really strange :)

Best of all is Maurice Richard

Strongly agree with you, it's my favorite team too.:)
It's been a while since they did win the stanley cup the last time it was in 1993.
They often won in the 70s, six times and five times in the 1960s.
It was the glorious Years for Montreal Canadiens

Anyone want to take a stab at predicting the Stanley Cup winner this year? Looks like the Capitals, and Blackhawks are going to be strong contenders. Several other teams do seem to have a fighting chance at least. Should be interesting to watch.

Yes, I watched 1976 finals against Philadelphia, great players! Let's hope that this year it will be something like this :)
Not long time ago they lost 0:10 in a match
