What do Hillary and Bernie have to say about Walmart and the min wage?

Have you considered checking the candidates' websites?

Also, why is Costco able to pay its employees $15 an hour plus benefits and still turn a profit?

Walmart's recent stock crash indicates that some Americans are finally waking up to how much of a burden the Walton family really is.

I never even seen a Costco in the past 11 years when I lived in:

Chicago
South Carolina

And travelled to
Arizona
Georgia
North Carolina

But they're is a Wal-Mart every city block it seems

What is Costco anyways?

Costco has less employees and uses them intensively.....whereas Walmart has more employees and uses them extensively....
this means if Walmart pays the same as Costco it will layoff thousands of workers..

is that the goal of the left....to eliminate jobs and put more people on the dole....? i believe so....

I thought Wal-Mart raised their minimum wage to $9 bucks an hour anyways ?

Wow I just checked their is one costco in Greenville Sc...45 miles away from me and one costco in Augusta Georgia 85 miles away...

How convenient... Lmao.

Even if Wal-Mart cannot exploit the workforce for higher profit anymore....raising the minimum wage remains extremely popular across the country...

More power to them at the local level just don't fuck with everyone else and do it on the National level.

The wage increase has nothing to do with exploit. The FACT is if you read the WSJ it says the down turn is short term because IF democrats pass TPP which Hillary STARTED then product costs go down.

Of course job losses here go up in exchange but hey their democrats. The more on the tit the better off they are right?

I don't think you understand. People that work at Walmart are already on the dole. The point was for us, as tax payers, to stop subsidizing Walmart's workforce.

Walmart's issues are much more than pay increase. You will note in the following a link a report about tax havens etc. but the first in text link takes you to another article about the report and then you hit the report.
3 Reasons Walmart Stock Is a Portfolio-Killing Loser (WMT)

Here is the link to the report and a snippet:
A groundbreaking report reveals that Walmart has built a vast, undisclosed network of 78 subsidiaries and branches in 15 overseas tax havens, which may be used to minimize foreign taxes where it has retail operations and to avoid U.S. tax on those foreign earnings. These secretive subsidiaries have never been subject to public scrutiny before. They have remained largely invisible, in part because Walmart fails to list them in its annual 10-K filings with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). Walmart’s preferred tax haven is Luxembourg, dubbed a “magical fairyland” for corporations looking to shelter profits from taxation.

The report, The Walmart Web: How the World’s Biggest Corporation Secretly Uses Tax Havens to Dodge Taxes, is the first-ever comprehensive documentation of the company’s use of tax havens. The full report is available here, and for the report’s Key Findings, click here.

Yep Bernie Sanders does not understand what he is saying, Just that the sheep of the far left will cheer him. Walmart gets federal tax breaks for hiring senior citizens, minorities, even if their management is comprised of a percent percentage of women and minorties.

So does Sanders and the far left want to get rid of those tax breaks as well?

Will the far left let the small business person compete with Big box retailers, by giving them bigger tax breaks?

As it stands now the far left policies we have in place favor large corporations like Wal-mart over the small business owner. When will the far left abandon their failed policies? Why do we tax payers need to fund these failed far left policies?

Says the far left drone that claims they do not read fiction..

Yet you see when confronted with the realities of the tax breaks Wal-mart gets via far left policies. They will not answer, they just on attack mode.

Just like a good little far left drone will do..
