What did Robin Hood really stand for?

Robin Hood was a poacher, if he'd had his way, all the animals in Sherwood forest would've been hunted to extinction, however, he was also a revolutionary that believed in No Taxation Without Representation, so I guess you could say he was a Tea Partier. :D

Naw.

Tea Partier's believe in no taxation, period. As per their new founding father..Grover Norquist and their new Constitution, the Grover Norquist pledge.

Black unemployment is at record levels............but 90% of blacks will still vote Obama next year.:2up:

By the way.......does anybody know? Did Obama send them those new kitchens and pay off their car loans?

But they're not voting for him just because he's BLACK... OOOOooooohhh no... 'cause everyone knows blacks can't be racists.

How stupid and racist do you have to be to say that about EVERY black person who voted in this country for Obama?

Robin Hood was a revolutionary and he used TERRORISM, too.

You know what they say:

One man's terrorist is another man's FREEDOM fighter.

yes very true

and winners write history

It would be interesting to see a Post
Revolutionary war British history
book

Every time they ask in a poll if taxing the rich is good they get a majority.

But when they ask them if raising taxes on everyone is fair almost 90% say no, especially when it means their own taxes will be raised dramatically.

The left has been doing their best to get us to love tax-increases. Get us to love getting screwed. It's almost working. But if you knew that the reason they spent us into massive debt in such a short time was just to raise everyone's taxes, not the rich, would you love the idea???

If you've been paying attention you'll realize that the rich will shelter their money. They will hire people to go around the laws. They will eventually pass tax-increases on to us.

But can you and I afford to do that?

The higher costs of food, higher energy costs, and higher taxes effect all of us and we cannot pass that on to everyone else to offset the extra expense. The Middle-Class will suffer more then anyone. If you wonder why someone who makes $20k a year qualifies for food stamps it's because of the high costs of everything that is passed onto the consumer. Those of us who have to work for every dime we make will suffer. Not the poor. Not the rich. We will.

The poor will apply for aid. They'll be fine (till the money runs out). Continue working for a paycheck and you will suffer.

So what do you think will be the predictable result????

People will quit working, revenues will go down, and taxes will keep going up to make up for the shortfall.

Robin hood was an age old hero who resonated with the common people all through history.

He was An American Hero also, hell they had TV shows and movies about him.

Since Glass Steagal was passed and the robber barons were held back from creating a boom bust economy people have not seen the need for a robin hood style hero.

Now its gone and you have ONE hell of a bust right now.

This is the plan of some of the wealthy.

When you have money you can make money in an up or down market ( not just stock market).

Those with BIG cash reserves can snap up the "bargains" that are created by people losing everything.

A boom bust cycle concentrates the wealth at the top.

That is why they promote an "unfettered market".

They can manipulate an unfettered market to their advantage.

There are people SO gullible they are talked into the idea of a "magic market" as an automatic setting that cures everything.

The unfettered market runs just great for those with their hands on the vast majority of the assets.

It fucks 99% of the rest of the population.

Its how the Kings and queens of eruope got their power.

I had to laugh when I read this.

How many trees are left in that forest? One or two, photos perhaps?

Pretty simple. Did Robin Hood stand for:

A) Taking from those who had something, and gave it to those in need?
B) Take from the looters in power and gave it back to the rightful owners?

Ether way it's stealing. Two wrongs do not make a right.

So when cops break into a house and recover stolen goods they are robbing?

No, they are violating the 4th amendment. Besides, breaking into a house is not robbery, it's burglary.
