What A Day!

Got about 8 inches also, but it melted down pretty fast today.

Mine melted down because I got it cleaned up...my brother had to work so he got no plowing done & now it's solid ice...his whole driveway is screwed until all 8 inches melt.

I told him to take a spade and punch a few holes down to concrete. If the sun can reach the ground...even in spots...the melt will happen much faster.

I just noticed something that should not be.

The front of my house faces north. It only gets direct sunlight in the early morning and late evening.

But it's 2:00 in the afternoon and it's got direct BRIGHT sunlight hitting it. I was checking to see how far the snow melt has progressed.

Did the earth shift out of position?
