Well its June, and global warming in northern Hemisphere is here and here they come. "Carbon dioxide" has SPIKED past MILESTONE.

The amount of heat-trapping carbon dioxide in the atmosphere has shot past a key milestone -- more than 50% higher than pre-industrial times -- and is at levels not seen since millions of years ago when Earth was a hothouse ocean-inundated planet, federal scientists announced Friday.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration said its long-time monitoring station at Mauna Loa, Hawaii, averaged 421 parts per million of carbon dioxide for the month of May, which is when the crucial greenhouse gas hits its yearly high. Before the industrial revolution in the late 19th century carbon dioxide levels were at 280 parts per million, scientists said, so humans have significantly changed the atmosphere. Some activists and scientists want a level of 350 parts per million. Industrial carbon dioxide emissions come from the burning of coal, oil and gas.

This isn't about the environment as we all know. It's all politics as we also all know.

Dems need to stop breeding, problem solved.

"is at levels not seen since millions of years ago when Earth was a hothouse ocean-inundated planet" and yet Earth isn't a hothouse ocean-inundated planet :eusa_think: these so called scientists have some explaining to do.

Once again warmist/alarmists makes bogus claims that doesn't make sense from a scientific standpoint.

It is still a trace gas with a trace IR absorption window and doesn't generate much warm forcing at all and the Background Feedback Loop is still missing in action.

"Next, here is the radical change in downwelling radiation at the surface from the increase in CO2 that is supposed to be driving the “CLIMATE EMERGENCY!!!” What I’ve shown is the change that in theory would have occurred from the changes in CO2 from 1750 to the present, and the change that in theory will occur in the future when CO2 increases from its present value to twice the 1750 value. This is using the generally accepted (although not rigorously derived) claim that the downwelling radiation change from a doubling of CO2 is 3.5 watts per square metre (W/m2). The purpose is to show how small these CO2-caused changes are compared to total downwelling radiation.

The changes in downwelling radiation from the increase in CO2 are trivially small, lost in the noise …"

Warmist/alarmists really don't understand the math here.

What the left specializes in are fake issues: the climate change hoax, trans crap, wealth disparity, need for green energy, vanishing women's rights to kill their babies, and too many guns. Democrats suck at the real issues--things people need: Jobs, strong economy, safe communities, strong families, low prices, good education, can-do mentality.

NOAA said carbon dioxide levels are now about the same as 4.1 to 4.5 million years ago in the Pliocene era, when temperatures were 7 degrees (3.9 degrees Celsius) hotter and sea levels were 16 to 82 feet (5 to 25 meters) higher than now. South Florida, for example, was completely under water. And yet temperatures are not now 7 degrees hotter and sea levels are not 16 to 82 feet higher and South Florida is not completely under water. :eusa_think:

.0024F, that's the most, absolute MOST the temperature increase attributable to this CO2

What you bed wetters call climate change the rest of us call the weather.
Call me when the elites sell off all their ocean front properties

421 parts per million OMG!! Oh wait, in earth's past it was 9,000 parts per million and temps were only 10 degrees hotter than today. Phew that's a relief.

"key milestone"
"50% higher than 'pre-industrial' times"
"millions of years ago"
"hothouse ocean-inundated planet"
"when 'crucial greenhouse gas' hits its yearly high"
"before the industrial revolution"
"in the late 19th century"
"humans have significantly changed the atmosphere"
"industrial carbon dioxide emissions"
"come from the burning of coal, oil and gas"
"its all about politics"
"as we all know"

Well done, Dr. Goebbels.
