everyone deserves access to affordable housing, free health care, and advanced education

As a friend once said, we can't all be rock stars, who's gonna drive the bus?

I continue to maintain that only 3 or 4 unique individuals that account to 95% of the Progressive posts on USMB.

People dont deserve my hard earned money simply for existing. Thats a load of PC, entitled and lazy, psycho babble bullshit.

With the economy booming and unemployment running out, leftists are in a frenzy facing the fact they will have to get jobs.

The key word is “access”. It doesn’t mean housing , healthcare, and advanced education should be free to all, because it is impossible to make it free to all. Some people will have to pay for it in some fashion. It’s the age old debate- give the federal government more money to provide more goods and services (socialism tending towards communism), or rely more on the free market and the states to provide that access. There is no country close to the size of the USA that has ever made socialism/ communism work so well that we should copy it.

Very true

Most countries understand that

Interesting. Why would one 'deserve' that?
Comes with belonging to a society

Great societies do not rely on “every man for himself”

Explain. Why would one deserve something from others simply by virtue of existing?

Yes, but wealth is not unethical. Wealth generated by paying your employees so little they need foodstamps to feed themselves even though they have a full time job is though. So is wealth generated by price gouging on necessities like medical care or medicine.
