NOne of these guys will get as much support as McCain did, but even if he got everyone McCain got, he'd still lose by 10 million votes.

In fact, McCain's supporters skew older while Obama's skewed younger. So 8 million new voters have come of age while a lot of McCain's voters are taking a dirt nap.

The GOP has lousy candidates this year, but that's only half of their problem. Their other problem is demographic. Their constituency is Pale, Male and Stale. They need to reach out to more women, more minorities and more young people.
