Yeah, it's all Bush. Keep running with that liberals. Tuesday is coming!

I did say final year didn't I? Here you go.

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- The hemorrhaging of American jobs accelerated at a record pace at the end of 2008, bringing the year's total job losses to 2.6 million or the highest level in more than six decades.

A sobering U.S. Labor Department jobs report Friday showed the economy lost 524,000 jobs in December and 1.9 million in the year's final four months, after the credit crisis began in September.

The unemployment rate rose to 7.2% last month from 6.7% in November - its highest rate since January 1993.

The steep annual drop in jobs marked the highest yearly job-loss total since 1945, the year in which World War II ended.

Total 2008 job loss: 2.6 million - Jan. 9, 2009

That was 2.6 million job lost in the last year of the Bush Presidency.

But Barack had already won the presidency so of course the rabid righties have to blame him.

Yeah, that explains the total year being 5.76, whereas the NEXT year is almost TWICE THAT.

Yeah keep this up liberals. Wonder why the country isn't voting Democrats. Oooooooooooooo, let me think.

:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

Quite a bit of it around here in my neck of the woods, unfortunately, does do with the fact the President is bi-racial. That's unfortunate some fools still feel that way, and is what it is. It's ironic that some Democratic minorities play the race card, too; it is ironic on how they were so well schooled in it.

No one denies that racists exist, Jake. What some of us take issue with, and I believe we have a legitimate issue, is that everyone who does not march lockstep with Obama's presidency, is labeled a racist. That is not acceptable. It is the easy answer but it is no the correct answer. It's like being taking a math test and putting any answer down, without bothering to work out the right answer.

I think both sides are reponsible for this. The use of the words "liberal" and "racist" are often mindless counterpunches by one side or the other. Those who are neither certainly resent being hit by the words if they do not apply.

Whereas almost 4,000,000 had lost their jobs by the time BHO became president.

Stay sane with your figures, TPS.

110th Congress (2007-2009)

Majority Party: Democrat (49 seats)

Minority Party: Republican (49 seats)

Other Parties: 1Independent; 1 Independent Democrat

Total Seats: 100

Note:Senator Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut was reelected in 2006 as an independent candidate, and became an Independent Democrat. Senator Bernard Sanders of Vermont was elected as an Independent.
these are links?.....:eusa_eh:

If Democrats had such "control" over the senate, then how come they only had 49 votes out of a hundred? What the fuck is it you want. It couldn't be more clear. Duh!

You need a link? Yea Mr. Geico, you are certainly missing a link.

FAr as I can tell based on what the GOP has been against?

Their plan for the economy is more of the same that got us into this mess to begin with.

Doesn't seem like a very good plan to me.

And, FWIW, I don't see much on the Democratic slate that inspires much confidence, either.

Gawd you're dumb. Is that an act. When Bush left office, the US was losing jobs at the rate of 750,000 a month. What was Obama supposed to do? A presidential act outlawing unemployment?

Dumb as dumb can be.

The Republicans have stated their goal is to make Obama a one term president. Nothing for the Middle Class. Nothing to improve the economy. The leadership spits on their base and moons the US. That's just the way it is. People here calls me names, but no one disputes my facts. Because they can't.

I posted the link where Mitch McConnell said the goal of the Republican Party is to make Obama a one term president. Not that I had to. It's been all over the news.

The reason I can't post links showing the Republican Party isn't helping the middle class or working to improve the economy, is, now get this, because they aren't helping the middle class or working to improve the economy. Can you finally get it?

If Republicans were helping the middle class, there would be links. But since they aren't, of course there are no links. If you have one, dipshit, post it. I want to see it.

Does everything have to be explained?

Have a blast on election night!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The GOP is going to take the House by ten to a dozen seats, and the fauxright thinks that is a super majority victory. As if that will change anything. Get a life, reactionaries.

Celebrate a GOP House victory. That is so much less than what you fauxconservatives of the far reactionary right were preaching for the last year and a half.
