We definitely need more women in public office

I won’t get into why there aren’t more women in office except by saying that not enough women even try to run for office in the first place. I think this is something feminists do not want to admit.

However.

We DEFINITELY need more women in public office. They are just as capable of handling the job as men. And more importantly, they - on average - have personality traits that men often lack on average.

1) They are more willing to comprise across the aisle. Women in Committee in congress have demonstrated this ability over men.

2) They also are more empathetic both on an emotional level and a cognitive level. They are more willing to be sympathetic to the plight of the poor and shrinking middle class. Moreover, they have the fairness of mind to consider an opposing perspective which in turn contributes to their ability to compromise.

3) They don’t have the egos men often have.

4) Oh, and for the most part, they aren’t sex perverts.

Again, I stress, these observations are ON AVERAGE. Obviously a lot of men have these attributes just as a lot of women lack them.

So when does your sorry ass file ?

1) They are more willing to comprise across the aisle. Women in Committee in congress have demonstrated this ability over men. men hold a grudge for 10 minutes, women hold one to the death

2) They also are more empathetic both on an emotional level and a cognitive level. They are more willing to be sympathetic to the plight of the poor and shrinking middle class. Moreover, they have the fairness of mind to consider an opposing perspective which in turn contributes to their ability to compromise. fairness, you just proved that leftist think the government is their mommy

3) They don’t have the egos men often have. what do you base this nonsense on?

4) Oh, and for the most part, they aren’t sex perverts.
And you admit you that you elect Republicans for no reason whatsoever all the while they get rich off special interests. Oh and they are mommies to corporations. Trust me, you’re the dumb one.
I haven't voted for the gop since Bush H

so now what's your response?

got no facts to back your assumptions up with?
My response would be calling you a pussy for singling out Democrats
my original post had nothing to do with dems

at all

Re the OP ... yeah, sure ... let's elect more Cynthia McKinneys, Maxine Waters types, Pelosis, Feinsteins, ad nauseam ... lol

You apparently do not work where women are bosses.

1. they are not more willing to compromise that is shear BS, they are no different then a lot of men in that regard.
2. Business, life and government is not a place for emotions. Emotions are about the most subjective trait there is to base judgement. I can see a woman standing up to Putin and crying.
3. You got to be kidding their egos are just as large, maybe larger.
4. Sex pervert is not a trait for a leader, and who knows how many men are harassed they just don't say anything? Look at how many teachers molest their students, it is almost always women.

That all said, there is no reason more women can not be in public office. But what we want in public office are good representatives and being woman, being a man, being black or any other trait that divides us is not one of the criteria for being a good representative.

I do NOT think that we necessarily need diversity in our politicians.

I think that what we need is politicians who genuinely want "TO SERVE THE PEOPLE." (Pardon me for taking that phrase from the Chinese Communist Party.)

I want a politician who is moderate, courteous, realistic, and thoughtful.

I personally do not care if ALL members of Congress, for example, come from a single race or a single gender or a single religion.

Are these women you want to elect what you would call democratic socialists? Because if they are, fuck that horse shit. Get those commie khunts the fuck out of here.

just not any of them, right..

Some of those I wouldn't vote for, Bush, Kelly, or Coulter, but Ingraham, Malkin, and Noonan are certainly much more qualified than 95% of males in Congress and the Senate, for certain. Ingraham and Noonan are definite Presidential material as well, as is Turner, Evans, and McBride, in order of preference.

Malkin, hands down, should run for office.

kinda miss Palin, not that I want her to run, I just like the way she drives leftists up the wall.

I think one reason why most women don't run for public office is that it is so all consuming. Running for and being in office is a 24/7 job, essentially, and most women have other responsibilities (family basically). If you look at the men who are in office, they all have a spouse supporting them: the woman behind the man as it were. Women's husbands are usually involved in their own careers and do not give such complete support to a wife in office as they don't have the time. So, she is still responsible for looking after the family (the female role in society) and she is not getting 100% support from her spouse.

Okay but none like Hillary.

The way Hillary was treated is exactly why there are so few women running for office. Or Pelosi, or Warren, or Waters.

Hillary was treated like the witch that she is! :mad-61:

No she was treated like the witch Republicans claim she is. 30 years Republicans have lied about Hillary Clinton.

At the beginning of the campaign I was disappointed. I wanted a woman to run but not Hillary. Didn’t like her and then I asked myself why I didn’t like her and I started researching all the things I believed about Hillary and discovered that all of the things I disliked about her was based on lies Republicans have been telling about her since Bill was President.
Why would you vote for a criminal?

Sorry but it is not almost always the women. You will hear about the women in the news BECAUSE it is so rare that a woman commits sexual assault against a child. Women don't hold a CANDLE to men when it comes to sexual assault.
