We Are Going To Build A Wall!

enforcement means more cost due to bigger government. only in right wing fantasy, do we get True advocates for smaller government.
Disingenuous claptrap.

Requiring government to fulfill one of its limited roles is not an agenda for larger government.
implementation is every thing. in this, it is. and, it is not, limited government; but right wing fantasy on a national and social basis.
Are you sure you're in the right thread? Protecting the borders of this nation is part of the Constitutional directive of limited powers granted to the Fed. Limited government is about government overreach and keeping government tucked into the Constitutional limits placed upon it.
Our borders are not in danger. We simply don't have a market friendly visa program that provides for work concessions.
Nice misdirection. Our borders are just a line on the map, but they represent an idea that nations are sovereign. The conclusion is that illicit traffic across that border in the form of people with no legal right to be here, causes s direct harm to this nation. Therefore, the government has a duty to enforce rules and laws on who may cross over it.
We have a Commerce Clause. Prohibition doesn't work. Why repeat historical mistakes and claim you are not really like that, afterward?

Just get it done. Build the wall. I don't care how much it costs. Our Politicians blow $Trillions on things i don't support. But i fully support securing our border. So spend whatever it takes to get it done. I don't care if the Debt rises to $40 Trillion.

Spend the Taxpayer Dollars on something worthwhile for a change. And if Trump can get Mexico to contribute, that'll be a nice bonus. But if he can't, he still needs to go forward with securing our border. It's what Americans want.

This is really a stupid idea.

All a border fence will do is screw up the bio-diversity of the wild life that doesn't understand international borders.

The reason illegals cross the border is for jobs. As long as there is no penalty for greed head American employers hiring illegals they will continue to sneak in - fence or no fence. And your beloved Republican congress will not pass a law punishing these greedy employers because our government is for sale.

So all this wall will do is schmooze the non-thinkers who support Trump.

AND MEXICO WILL PAY FOR IT! ...lol, Suckers. I ran into a trump supporter yesterday. He said trump didnt say he was going to build a wall.

"Congress looks to start building a Mexican border wall within months

In a bid to swiftly deliver on one of President-elect Donald Trump’s chief campaign promises, congressional Republicans are exploring ways to begin funding a barrier on the U.S. southern border starting as soon as April.

Multiple lawmakers described the plans Thursday, which would use authority under a 2006 law supported by Republicans and Democrats alike to justify spending that could eventually reach into the billions of dollars.

From the beginning of this campaign, Trump pledged to “build a wall and make Mexico pay for it.” While the funding under discussion in Congress would be from U.S. taxpayer funds, it would not preclude Trump’s administration from seeking reimbursement from Mexico, as Trump himself has discussed on the campaign trail.

“I said Mexico is paying for the wall, with the full understanding that the country of Mexico will be reimbursing the United States for the full cost of such a wall, okay?” he said during an Oct. 22 speech in Gettysburg, Pa. “We’re going to have the wall. Mexico is going to pay for the wall.”

On Friday, Trump took to Twitter with the same assertion that somehow Mexico will eventually cover the costs of what he called “the Great Wall,” although Mexican officials strongly reject offering any funds. “The dishonest media does not report that any money spent on building the Great Wall (for sake of speed), will be paid back by Mexico later!” Trump tweeted."

Construction will begin in the Spring.

We Are Going To Build A Wall! AND MEXICO WILL PAY FOR IT! ...lol, Suckers. I ran into a trump supporter yesterday. He said trump didn't say he was going to build a wall

We are headed for four long years of "he didn't really mean that." Mark my words. It's already started. The question is when the crescendo will happen.

WTH? How can anyone deny Trump said he was going to build a wall and Mexico was going to pay for it? Did you check the guy for bruises? He must have have a lot from having crawled out from under all those rocks.

I swear, there is no way there are enough therapists in the country to treat all the wave of cognitive dissonance that will surely prostrate millions of Trumpkins during the next four years.

So far, Trump is:
  • "Draining the swamp" and refilling it, not with "regular" people who are bright, but with billionaires. You know that does? It cuts back on lobbyists' influence. You know why? Because the billionaires won't any longer have to pay for lobbyists. "Pay for play" gets cut back too because everyone who was paying will be the ones making the decisions. Imagine all that money that, under Trump, the super rich won't have to spend to get their way. How naive must a person be to think that all these CEOs and self-employed mega-wealthy people will forget what's in their "blind trusts?" Even Ben Carson who is just "regular rich" is going to leave government as a mega rich man.
  • Trying to keep parts of O-care. Yea, that's what everyone thought "repeal and replace" meant. Yea, sure. Anyone want to buy a bridge? How about ocean front property in Arizona?

    timthumb.php

  • Not going to pursue indicting Hillary Clinton.
  • 1st Amendment: "I'm going to open up our libel laws so when they write purposely negative and horrible and false articles, we can sue them and win lots of money,” he pledged in February, blowing straight past the First Amendment protections afforded to a free press. When journalist Mark Thompson, on Nov. 22nd, 2016, asked if he was committed to protecting the First Amendment, Trump responded saying, “Actually, somebody said to me on that, they said, ‘You know, it’s a great idea, softening up those laws, but you may get sued a lot more.’ I said, "You know, you’re right, I never thought about that." I said, "You know, I have to start thinking about that."
  • Immigration Deportation (but not cost efficiency):
    • July 2015: "I would get people out and then have an expedited way of getting them back into the country so they can be legal…A lot of these people are helping us…and sometimes it’s jobs a citizen of the United States doesn’t want to do. I want to move ’em out, and we’re going to move ’em back in and let them be legal."
      • Excuse me? The man really said that. He wants the spend U.S. taxpayer resources to ship illegal immigrants out of the U.S. and then expedite their return. When was the last time you helped your wife rearrange the furniture only to shortly afterwards put it right back where it was? What does the man think he's doing...letting the dog out to take a dump? That's what that process sounds like to me...

That is illustrative of just how absurd that man is. A 15 year old could have figured out that all that is really needed is some paper pushing. An administrative procedure. There's no need to physically move people across the border, which carries its own set of administrative processing that also costs money.
    • Nov. 2015: "You're going to have a deportation force, and you're going to do it humanely. Don't forget, Mika, that you have millions of people that are waiting in line to come into this country and they're waiting to come in legally. And I always say the wall, we're going to build the wall. It's going to be a real deal. It's going to be a real wall."
    • Nov 2015: (Eric Trump) "The point isn’t just deporting them, it’s deporting them and letting them back in legally. He’s been so clear about that and I know the liberal media wants to misconstrue it, but its deporting them and letting them back legally."
    • Aug. 2016: "Within ICE, I am going to create a new special deportation task force focused on identifying and quickly removing the most dangerous criminal illegal immigrants in America who have evaded justice."
All I know is Trumpkins couldn't tell all thinking all that shit was real was just them having pipe dreams.
