A good friend of mine that is pretty far Left told me about this the other day. Even he was appalled by it. Another Liberal I work with thinks it's ridiculous. So my question is, who are these idiots that don't like Rudolph? Seems to me there's a small minority within Liberals just stirring up shIt that most don't agree with.

There was a thread about that a few days ago. According to the poster, CBS wanted to take that scene out and Schultz said if they did, he was pulling the whole thing. They left it in. I don't know if that happened when it first aired or recently. Well, not too recently, since Schultz died in 2000.

I didn't like it as a kid. Somehow, it offended my perception of what a Christmas story should be about. All that Island of Misfit Toys, Bumble and the dentist--nothing to do with Rudolph. That and the animated puppets instead of a cartoon. It is a pretty cute story, though, now that I'm less resistant to change.
