Since the start of the year, Washington State has added almost 37,000 active concealed pistol licenses including the 6,734 added just during November, which suggests just because the state’s political tilt is dominated by liberal Seattle and the I-5 corridor, an increasing number of people are not ready to surrender their safety.

Over the past five years, since December 2014, the state has added more than 170,300 CPLs, according to records from the state Department of Licensing. Back on Dec. 31, there were 608,460 active licenses.

It is telling that this is happening in lefty land. I'm betting because the police are told they can't do their job, these commies are forced to protect themselves. Don't all the New York Mayors say, don't worry, call the police and hope for the best?

What's interesting is that there are plenty of lefties that are firearms owners, yet will still vote for a lefty, even though all the left's candidates say they are taking firearms away from lawful gun owners. I would think that for the sake of unity to their Socialist/Communist party, they would turn them in as a show of support. My significant other's brother owns multiple weapons, including the AR-15, yet insists that he will never vote for either Democrat or Republican. So, if the left were to win the majority in both houses and the presidency, he would only have to look in the mirror to see who was partially to blame for gun confiscation.
