It is becoming more and more well known that it is the Ds who are in the pocket of Wall Street; Gordon Gecko is a Liberal.

The Rs get only the scraps from the table, and why should they refuse those scraps, since they support business as business is the only part of the economy which can build up the economy and create jobs.

That'll change this election cycle.

Wall street typically throws its money to the folks in power.

That's one of the ways that Wakk Street does so well, actually.

But knowing when to change sides and making their bribes count.

pro business is pro America and capitalism

What's good for GM is good for the country?

Ooops, wait a second.

Hello????? All political campaigns receive money from companies... :cuckoo::cuckoo::cuckoo:

Top Contributors to Barack Obama | OpenSecrets

Barack Obama (D)
Top Contributors

This table lists the top donors to this candidate in the 2008 election cycle. The organizations themselves did not donate , rather the money came from the organization's PAC, its individual members or employees or owners, and those individuals' immediate families. Organization totals include subsidiaries and affiliates.

Because of contribution limits, organizations that bundle together many individual contributions are often among the top donors to presidential candidates. These contributions can come from the organization's members or employees (and their families). The organization may support one candidate, or hedge its bets by supporting multiple candidates. Groups with national networks of donors - like EMILY's List and Club for Growth - make for particularly big bundlers.
University of California $1,591,395

....A sentiment, only a clueless-Teabagger could create.

Yeah.....John Boner was notorious, for that....sharing the $crap$ he'd gathered-up.

"In late June of 1995 then-GOP Conference Chairman John Boehner handed out "about a half-dozen" check$ from the political action committee of tobacco company Brown & Williamson Corp. to fellow Republicans on the floor of the Househttp://www.sourcewatch.org/index.php?title=John_Boehner.

Boehner's chief of staff Barry Jackson stated, "We were trying to help guys who needed to get their June 30th numbers up, their cash-on-hand numbers up. All leadership does this. We have to raise money for people and help them raise money."

Boehner was forced to stop handing out the checks when two freshmen Republicans, "appalled by it," confronted him and voiced their displeasure. Boehner's reaction was one of tempered apology, "I thought, 'Yeah, I can imagine why somebody would be upset. It sure doesn't look good.' It's not an excuse, but the floor is the only place you get to see your colleagues. It was a matter of convenience. You make a mistake, admit it and go on. I just feel bad about it." (Associated Press, 5/10/96)

Whatta bullshitter.

The TEA Party movement does not like to 'wrap itself in "grassroots" contempt' for anyone.
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.....BIMBO!!!!!

It's a lil'-more Klanish-contempt, by nature.

First step is the deal I heard last night. Make permanent the Bush tax cuts for under $250,000 and a 3 yr extension on the tax cuts for the rich.

The Democrats vastly outspent the Republicans overall in these past Elections. A little known fact their sycophants always seem to conveniently ignore. Go figure?

What bullshit.
The contempt comes from socialist douche bags that can't keep their noses out of private sector pockets.
Yeah....why can't we show more compassion for Corporate America, huh??

Has nothing to do with compassion.
It has more to do with statism/mixed economy and being a nation of laws.
It's not my money, but some think they can dig into the pockets of others while securing their own. History proves that wrong.
BTW
I think Chavez is confiscating golf courses to feed children, sounds like a great plan for us.

We still have to wait for all the massive over spending to come home and roost. Maybe after that, maybe.
