Wait a minute: The guns in Fast and Furious didn't originate from the government?

Holy shit.

All they were doing..it seems, was MONITORING gun sales.

It wasn't even like Wide Reciever..where the ATF actually had the guns to begin with.

So basically..they just watched the sales..went to prosecutors in Arizona to arrest these folks..and the prosecutors refused.

THAT'S THE BIG SCANDAL?

Well it is, sorta, because it's the gun nuts that kept the ATF from stopping the gun walking.

Wait, so they say buy and Let guns get bought here and taken there but it's okay because they were not our guns?

Wow you are a fucking idiot.

Yeah they were our Guns in Wide Receiver, you know why? so we could FUCKING HIDE radio Tacking Devices on them, and actually Track the FUCKING GUNS.

What is the Point of simply watching a Gun Deal go Down, and letting the guns walk. What the hell do you expect to gain by it? Hmmm?

But they weren't our guns in F&F. The ATF was powerless to legally do anything due to, you guessed it, gun laws.

This whole "the ATF killed Brian Terry" is starting to look a little ghoulish.

This is going to be a different story in a week.

What?

So the ATF TOLD the gun dealers to sell the guns, the Gun dealers WROTE to the ATF and told them they did not want to do this. ATF writes them back and tells them they are doing a service for their country and to sell the guns because they will track them, and somehow the ATF was powerless?:confused:

This is the same as asking your superior "permission to speak freely sir".
And the POTUS is directly involved.... was Obama involved or not???

Read it Sallow... you are wrong man.

I'm not wrong at all.

I can read it fine.

Here's the thing. You guys are inconsistent. You think what applies to one Person doesn't apply to another.

Precedent and Equal treatment are important when you are dealing with matters of the law.

Once that breaks done..it goes to heck.
No. No one thinks that. They DO think it applies to one situation and not another.

Situations, not persons.

“There was no effort to get more guns to the straw purchasers,” Eban said in an interview with host Al Sharpton, summarizing her findings. “The ATF agents in question did everything that they could to seize guns, and basically prosecutors determined that they didn’t have grounds under the laws as written to seize most of the guns that wound up flowing ultimately to criminals; that is a far cry from guns being walked.”

Why did the DOJ admit that was the intent if it wasn't the intent?

A day ahead of a vote to find Attorney General Eric Holder in contempt of Congress, House Oversight Committee Chairman Darrell Issa (R-CA) said his committee is no longer even strongly suspicious that highest ranking law enforcement officer in the country knew that guns “walked” during the botched ATF operation known as Fast and Furious.

“During the inception and the participation through the death of Brian Terry, we have no evidence nor do we currently have strong suspicion” that Holder knew of the tactics, Issa said during testimony before the House Rules Committee on Wednesday.

And yet the Repukes are going to hold the vote anyway. And why? Because they hate Democrats more than they hate anyone else. Witch hunt.

and yet you still believe something that has been proven to be the same people who whined about bush and the attorney's got it.

How did Napolitano know about fast and the furious and not holder?

Is the left saying holder is incompetent?

Watching people makes excuses for Holder on this has been pathetic

screw the American citizens that we killed because of it

Oh bullshit.

It was a general example.

Bush wasn't involved in Cheney's meetings with Energy heads.

Yet, executive priviledge extended to the Vice President.

Yup.

It's kind of like when they socked Martha Stewart into jail for "lying" to agents.

There was no underlying crime. Their case against her about "insider trading" fell apart.

Stupid kooks are panicking and will swallow anything.:

WASHINGTON - Attorney General Eric Holder Tuesday acknowledged that an agency under his supervision, ATF, intentionally let weapons fall into the hands of Mexican drug cartels.

Watch Attkisson's full report below.

It's a controversial practice called "gunwalking" that tried to get big fish criminals. Instead, it put thousands of guns on the street. Many were used in violent crimes and murders.

CBS News investigative correspondent Sharyl Attkisson report Holder made the difficult admission to Congress. "Any instance of so-called gunwalking is unacceptable. Regrettably, this tactic was used as part of Fast and Furious."

The worst administration in the history of our country.

Sallow, you're an OK poster most of the time, and other times I truly believe you are retarded.

Just being honest.

Indeed...........lets face it..........only the hyper-partisan mental cases post up hyper-partisan links to support their point of view. Fascinating.........because in their view, the whole country views things like the 21%ers who are the only ones to embrace this "lean forward" crap.:coffee:

So yeah..they were powerless.

Right. Because firing someone is exactly the same SITUATION as covering up putting guns in the hands of the killers of two federal agents and never doing a thing about it.

Yup. Exactly the same situation.....to retards, it is.

"I don't know nothing 'bout walking no guns!" -- Holders excuse believed by Libs
I guess Issa is a lib. :lmao:

I'll make the same comment to you as I did your comrade sallow

To have no knowledge of an operation for as long as fast and the furious was being used, it's either incompetent or a lie. Take your pick.
