Assuming he is dead . There are one or two details that remain unclear . Only his close friend Valery Chekalov knew which of the two planes would have the key people on - board -- including himself . They always prepared and flew two planes . Who knew which of the two planes to plant the bomb -- the second plane returned unharmed ?At the time of writing no bodies final identifications have been reported and regardless of what might be said officially , the truth might be very different .
