Odd, the MSM reported nothing of this as they mourned the death of Soleimani. The comments to the YouTube video show the temperature of the reaction to this here in the U.S.

_______

Protesters rallied in the streets of Baghdad to celebrate, hours after General Qassem Soleimani, the commander of Iran's elite Quds Force, was reportedly killed during a US airstrike at Baghdad's international airport, on Friday.

Footage filmed in the early hours of Friday shows crowds gathering in the streets of the Iraqi capital to celebrate the attack, marching and waving Iraqi flags.

According to Iraqi officials and the State television, the strike also killed the deputy head of the Iran-backed Iraqi Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) Abu Mahdi al-Muhandis.

Well you would be wrong. Iraqi Shiites have been vehemently protesting Iranian political and military presence and actions in Iraq, going as far as bombing Iranian sites in the South of Iraq. One of many articles on the subject:

Fox did... of course the others didn't. They couldn't do anything that even remotely puts Trump in a positive light

And those that were, were "encouraged" strongly to hold up obviously state made signs and flags showing "outrage".
Sort of like the Gulf War. When Saddam was still in charge, his military were all shooting rifles in the air and burning flags, all manned up and ready to go!!! When the U.S. showed up - they dropped their guns and formed lines a mile long surrendering.
Quite possible what 3/4 of Iran's military would do also.

Correct:

More recently, in Iraq, he was instrumental in the violent crackdown against protests that had erupted in October. The protesters’ ire targeted not only the corruption and mismanagement of their own politicians, but Iran’s role in both, as well as its overbearing control over the country through proxy Shiite militias loyal to Tehran. “We in Iran know how to deal with protesters,” Soleimani had reportedly told Iraqi officials in October. “This happened in Iran and we got it under control.” Though Iraqis have continued to take to the streets, more than 500 of them have been killed. Demonstrations in Iran were also brutally crushed—more than 1,000 died in the crackdown there, according to Iranian officials.

... You are aware that Shia are the maj in Iraq for a long time.

And that has nothing to do with this, as you would know if you expanded your information sources:

[Soleimani] was also hated, not only by Sunnis who suffered at the hands of his proxy militias in Syria and Iraq, but also by fellow Shias, including some in Iraq and Iran, where he helped uphold a repressive system and was seen as the man responsiblefor Iran’s role in costly wars abroad. He was not simply on a mission to undo the unsatisfying score of the Iran-Iraq war and make up for the conflict’s devastating death toll and the humiliation it served his country; he had become the mission, the upholder of the Islamic revolution, keeping it alive for Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei
