He has no cognitive ability. The lower 48 is large enough in size that it represents 5 of 18 zones and is therefore capable of showing the general trend. The fact that the data shows a marked divergence from their modeling crap is indicative of modeling failure of massive proportions. The actual divergence from reality is almost 3.2 deg C. Over 5 standard deviations.. The model they are using is CRAP!Did you realize, Billy Boy, that the United States and the Planet Earth are not the same thing?
Apparently not.
Is there any rational reason to suspect that should the USCRN be extended to cover the globe that it would not show the same thing? Is there something unique about the continental US which makes the global climate here behave differently than elsewhere on the globe? Any reason at all?
Does the standard surface temperature product not show the US as warming right along with the rest of the earth?
