I’ve been doing my own research and so far it’s been very vague. The straight numbers are hard to find. I subtracted the numbers of the five cities listed from the overall number in the US and the difference is small. I’m having trouble getting direct numbers of other countries to compare. Maybe you’ll have better luck.
The gist of the claim is more than obvious, however. Most cities are run by democrats and most murder happen in those cities. You remove that addend from the equation and the result is conspicuous.
