If you are saying Obama's actual plan is to destroy the healthcare system so that the left can implement single payer government healthcare and gain control over a huge chunk of the economy you are exactly correct. The sources you are using do not address the points or questions I have suggested. They are not meant to address them. They simple give numbers related to funds spent vs funds collected for services. The link I provided does not reflect the overall loss you are implying. I am suggesting that other funds, specifically charitable donations, covered the loss you are showing. Mercy has been in operation long enough to probably be pretty good at projecting allowable charitable expenses from hospital to hospital, facility to facility according to available donated funds.

That "CHART" shows "DISCOUNTS"! Meaning the hospitals don't get as much revenue from those patients that qualify under Federal Poverty Level guidelines.
Which means the hospitals don't receive as much revenue from Federal Poverty Level patients as they would from NON-Federal Poverty Level patients.
