Up to 120,000 pigs in UK face culling due to lack of abattoir workers
National Pig Association fears ‘acute welfare disaster’ within weeks if farmers cannot get stock processed

They cant get the pigs to market you see. For some reason they cant get folk to work in the slaughter houses and so the pigs are piling up. There is surely a case here for our useless government to buy up all the spare hogs and ship them to a country not fucked up by brexit. At the least these sad beasts should provide dinner for folk.
The likely outcome is the closure of the UK pork market and wholesale importation of pork products. This will lead to an increase in pork prrices.
We werent told about this when we voted for brexit.
