U.S. Ranks Last in Study of...

Few days go by when the topic of abortion doesn't come up online and the conservatives express their great fondness for life. It doesn't matter that life in this case is potential and undeveloped, it only matters that it is life and it has a right to life. Now turn to healthcare for the same child born now to a poor or lower class family, and suddenly the conservative no longer cares that the living child have a right to life, aka excellent healthcare. It's not the conservatives fault the child didn't pick an upper middle class family to be born into after all. In fact, mention universal healthcare, and the conservative bemoans the cost of granting this human necessity to the living child. Once past the vagina the child is on its own in the conservative world. We loved and supported you till now is such a wonderful sentiment.

This is a tired, old, false argument unthinking leftists love to trot out whenever they feel the need for some empty, fabricated righteousness that in reality is just more partisan bullshit.

It is a curious mental defect of those on the left that they seem truly incapable of believing that there could exist any legitimate point of view other than their own. It really seems deeply imprinted into them that there cannot be more than one way of looking at political problems, more than one political philosophy that isn't inherently ill-intentioned, or that there could possibly be any more than one approach to solving problems or furthering the interests of the nation and its people. Its as if they have a physical impediment to perceiving the world outside of "us good - you bad" in the most basic, primitive way. And this is based on what? Some moral structure firmly grounded in a system of beliefs to which others may refer? No, they just 'know' they are good and right (and therefore all others are bad and wrong) for no other reason than that they are on the left. This is why you never hear a liberal politician who lost an election admit that his ideas were considered and rejected by the voters. It's always, "we didn't explain our message well enough," or "we didn't make the people understand" or some such indication that the fault lies with the voters who failed to grasp the essential goodness and obvious correctness of the leftist position. This is also why leftists love to claim those who reject or disagree with their point of view are "blind," "afraid," "asleep," or "voting against their own best interests." A clear-headed, rational, well-informed person could not possibly disagree with the leftist position on anything in their bizarre and unyileding world view.

To summarize: leftists are arrogant, presumptuous, block-headed douchebags.

Anything that is not perfect could obviously be better, but comparisons between countries are often less instructive then some like to think. In any case, to conclude that because the health care system could be better that:

A) America loves money more than its people

or

B) The only viable solution is to adopt the policies of countries very unlike our own

is absurd

This lefist "it has to be done this way or else that proves you hate people!" nonsense is exactly what I was talking about earlier.

"To add fuel to the fire a new study has ranked the US dead last among 19 industrialized nations in numbers preventable deaths due to treatable medical conditions.

it adds fuel if you are a liberal who cant think. Americans die in high numbers for many reason not connected to the health care system such as over eating and smoking.

One thing is certain, liberal socialist health care will only make things worse. Did the liberal notice that China just switched to capitalism and suddenly they started being able to afford everything. How can the easiest lessons be way over a liberals head?

Do you think drug use contributes to the death toll?

Detroit Lions - NFL | Four arrested in death of Erik Kramer's son; heroin suspected | The Detroit News

How about the murder rate in the US? We have more people who believe they have a right to kill others than any other country in the world.

No...

We're not even in the top 10 (or top 20 for that matter).

What country do you go to for health care?
