U.S. embassies to close in the ME

Yes, they have closed embassies due to threats, unless, like obama you have Benghazi, they you leave it open so the people could be killed.

There has never been a threat due to a president's birthday before obama.

There has never been a threat due to a president's birthday before obama.

And there still hasn't been. This has nothing to do with his birthday. I will post this again, because you were too stupid to get it the first time.

August 4 this year marks the 27th night of Ramadan, which according to most but not all Muslim scholars is Laylat al-Qadr (“night of power” or “night of destiny”), when Muslims believe the first verses of the Qur’an were revealed to Mohammed in the 7th century."

Now will you shut your trap and stop lying?

There's a 27th night of ramadan every year. There's a 25th night and a 28th night.

Which is why they have put warnings out before.
Do you actually try to inform yourself or do you just stick to making shit up?

"According to the documents, Sajid Mir, one of David Coleman Headley's LeT handlers, told him that the attack would occur on the 27th night of Ramadan, which in 2008 would have been on September 29. Around this time, Headley received a text message from Sajid stating something to the effect of "the game is afoot".

The 27th night of Ramadan as I have pointed out has a certain significance.

Wow the reverberation of the effects of liberal olivebranchology in foreign affairs. Or as we on the right like to call it, " The Benghazi Affect".

Al Quaeda is on the run. Al Quaeda is descimated. Destroyed. Bin Laden is dead.
The white house press briefing was cancelled today because even Jim Carney is hiding under his desk not wanting to answer questions.

Al Quaeda has obama on the run. Happy birthday Mr. PRESIDEBT.

As for Bush, Muslims hated him, you idiot. Lol
I am so sick of some of you on the right, just a bunch of moronic stupid fucking liars. Obama could cure cancer and you would find fault in it.
Go hide in hole and stop spreading your stupid bullshit. Fuck.
Or...OR...you could just get used to the fact that not everyone thinks Obama is ever so dreamy.

Your call.

So Obama said that the War on Terror is over, Osama is dead and AlQaeda is on the run... huh?

Well... Hail to the Emperor, Happy Birthday Mr President!

While obama could not cure cancer, if there was a cure for cancer he would say "the man who invented a cure for cancer could have been my son. Or, me."

If i were to decide, i would shut em down for the whole month of ramadan.

You don't want to be anywhere close to a muslim who did not eat or drink or SMOKED for the whole hot long day.

Once I've seen 2 drivers beating each other using the bumpers torn off of their cars after an accident, in the middle of a highway.

It's not safe to go outta the country...
Global travel warning: US cites al-Qaida threat
Aug 2,`13 WASHINGTON (AP) -- The United States issued an extraordinary global travel warning to Americans Friday about the threat of an al-Qaida attack and closed down 21 embassies and consulates across the Muslim world for the weekend.
The alert was the first of its kind since an announcement preceding the tenth anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks. This one comes with the scars still fresh from last year's deadly Sept. 11 attack on a U.S. diplomatic post in Benghazi, Libya, and with the Obama administration and Congress determined to prevent any similar breach of an American Embassy or consulate. "There is a significant threat stream and we're reacting to it," said Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. He told ABC News in an interview to be aired Sunday that the threat was "more specific" than previous ones and the "intent is to attack Western, not just U.S. interests."

The State Department warning urged American travelers to take extra precautions overseas, citing potential dangers involved with public transportation systems and other prime sites for tourists and noting that previous terrorist attacks have centered on subway and rail networks as well as airplanes and boats. It suggested travelers sign up for State Department alerts and register with U.S. consulates in the countries they visit. The statement said that al-Qaida or its allies might target either U.S. government or private American interests. The alert expires on Aug. 31. The State Department said the potential for terrorism was particularly acute in the Middle East and North Africa, with a possible attack occurring on or coming from the Arabian Peninsula.

U.S. officials pointed specifically to Yemen, the home of al-Qaida's most dangerous offshoot and the network blamed for several notable terrorist plots on the United States, from the foiled Christmas Day 2009 effort to bomb an airliner over Detroit to the explosives-laden parcels intercepted the following year aboard cargo flights. "Current information suggests that al-Qaida and affiliated organizations continue to plan terrorist attacks both in the region and beyond, and that they may focus efforts to conduct attacks in the period between now and the end of August," a department statement said.

The alert was posted a day after the U.S. announced it would shut many diplomatic facilities Sunday. Spokeswoman Marie Harf said the department acted out of an "abundance of caution" and that some missions may stay closed for longer than a day. Sunday is a business day in Muslim countries, and the diplomatic offices affected stretch from Mauritania in northwest Africa to Afghanistan. "I don't know if I can say there was a specific threat," said Rep. Eliot Engel of New York, the House Foreign Affairs Committee's top Democrat, who was briefed on the State Department's decision. "There is concern over the potentiality of violence."
