Iread recently that U.S. Army PSYOP is the main reason why the U.S. Army forces were so
successfull in the recent Iraq campaigne.

It is PSYOP implementation and execution, even before the war started, that caused many Iraqi soldiers to surrender, thus preventing the loss of U.S. Army soldiers lives, and Iraqi lives as well.

Has U.S. Army Psychological warfare become that powerful. I would say yes, in this age of the internet, Psychological warfare has become a very effective weapon, used to win wars
    before they even start!!?

Yes, the enemy can just be counseled into surrender.

My son was selected for PsyOps a couple months ago and is in training right now.

He was always really good about playing with my mind...now it's going to get worse! Lol~
Of course he can't tell me much about it, but knowing him he'll be very good at it! :)
