In a Republic, actually
“What’s changed is not Trump but the conservative movement. When he spoke at CPAC in 2011, conservatism was an ideology. By this year’s conference, conservatism had become a collection of grievances. It had become Trumpism.”

Trump’s takeover of conservatism is complete

What hasn’t changed about the conservative ‘movement’ is that its dogma is just as failed and wrongheaded as before the advent of Trump.

Yeah, to commies like you it's all about "collectivism" and "the greater good". Individual rights and liberties must take a back seat to the collective.......no thanks.

Trump has not taken over conservatism, you moron. In case you had not noticed, Trump vs. conservatives was a big issue prior to the election. Idiot.

That's what you just did, Harry. An ad hoc argument usually occurs when someone is given a point against which they cannot defend so they craft a "special" case argument that answers the specific objection, but that is usually a spur-of-the-moment explanation and only applies to the exact case (or a narrow range of cases) in question. People often resort to ad hoc reasoning when losing ground on an argument What Does " Ad hoc Fallacy" mean in logic?

Trump is the leader of the Republican party and represents them to a tee. Proclaims themselves good christians-three marriages. Proclaims themselves about family values-debate about dick size. Proclaims themselves about law and order-Trump university. Proclaims themselves military patriots-makes fun of McCain when they didn't serve.
Etc.
Party of bullshit and hypocrisy basically.

And, as with Gore and Bush, you will rue that in a couple of years.

Ummmm, first off it's "you're" and secondly I am not blue eyed nor did I have blond hair even before I first felt the sting of male pattern baldness at the sad age of 19. Lastly, this country was founded on individual freedoms...not "privileges" that are granted by the state that can take them away at their whims....you have soooo much to learn....grammar being the least of them.
