All these attacks on Biden for the crisis at the border, and the root cause of the crisis seems to always been one either created by, or exacerbated by, the direct actions of the United States government, be it high rates of violence in Central America (Iran-Contra, the destabilizing of governments and formenting civil wars, the arming of rival groups in internecine conflicts) and also ongoing economic sanctions against the nation of Venezuela, driving millions north.

And the irony of it all is if someone were to show Trump this evidence, in his own feverish imagination, he would make himself blameless and point the finger at some imaginary root cause instead.

Since 2005 the U.S. has imposed sanctions on Venezuela.........

The Trump administration expanded the scope of the sanctions, moving beyond individually targeted sanctions to include broader financial sanctions........

These sanctions have created an economic collapse that had led 7.7 million Venezuelan's to flee the country......

Joe Biden said that if he were elected president, migrants should "immediately surge to the border."

The migrants took him up on it.

I could never be described as a Trump supporter. Heck, I wouldn't vote for the man and never have. I did not and do not support buying and building a 1700 mile long wall, to be built and have the long term maintenance it is already using. That said, Joe Fkd up the border more than any other president in history and did more damage to an already broken immigration system, with no end in sight. The asylum claims are 90% a crock of sht, and they don't even have to be proven for years, and that is if the asylum seakers even show up for a court date, and one isn't even assigned when they are allow in, plus they don't even have to work, as no work permits are issued even temporarily.

The border is kind of like Gen Colin Powell told the Dumb SonovaBush about Iraq, "if you break it, you buy it." When Joe made that announcement to the world, basically saying come one, come all, and they started coming, he broke the policy in place. Mexico, who had be holding many thousands at their southern border, basically said OK, you want them you go them, and turned them loose. Joe did not have staffing in place or procedures in place, facilities in place or even a working policy or plan of how to deal with the massive influx it attracted. After all, it was day 2 of his presidency and he made the announcement, no prep. Hell, he was being inaugurated on day 1. Due to Joe, we have been pay for Joe buying when he broke it ever since.

I'm not giving Biden any credit on handling the border crisis, but his handlers have realized that economic distress and societal breakdown in Venezuela is causing a mass migration out of that country into this one, that's why they are easing sanctions on this country. Trump only fucked it up worse.

I don't like Donny and never have, but Donny didn't fk it up this bad.
Those handlers, you blame, work for Joe or are supposed to whether they do or not, so Joe is responsible for whatever happens at that border. I didn't vote for any "handlers", and I don't give a rats ass about the Venezualan people and their desire to come here and get on the dole. I do not see a benefit to allowing the migration across our southern border we are seeing.

If it were up to me, there wouldn't be a border wall, but there would be a 3 1/2 foot all fence with keep out, written in English and then a 50 to 100 ft mine field, where National guard would go pick up what was left of the people that tried to beach and then install new mines. Installing and mapping minefield installation is good training and done in depth (even if not covered by fire), makes a good no-go barrier against the untrained.

And yet you are going to vote for Biden? Because Trump was right??

Well then you're missing the point of the entire thread, which is:

Trump imposing harsher sanctions on Venezeula, leading to a swell of migrants headed north.

It's that simple, it's not placing all the blame on Trump any more than you placing all the blame on Biden. Both parties are to blame, and this is where Trump failed.

And yet you are going to vote for Biden? Because Trump was right??
The Border is important, but not as important as keeping the constitution, rule of law, and the historic norms we have had for over 250 years. We dumped Trump and he will stay dumped. You guys better come up with somebody else, Nikki, maybe or see another fail on election day and with the abortion thing being pushed anywhere they can keep it off the ballot, your may be looking at a right wing rebublican blood bath, already. Ya'll need to figure it out. We aren't giving up the constitution for your boy, that can only serve 4 years (at least under our constitution), so you'll just have to get fucked.

The stupid Moon Bats trying to blame Trump for Mr. Potatohead allowing millions of the Illegals shits to flood in? LO!

Then they wonder why we ridicule them so much for being dumbasses.

Vermin democrats said they would concoct some nonsense making the border crisis Trump’s fault. It isn't going to work. No one stormed the border wearing Trump Let Us In shirts.
