It's more than clear that Democrats voted for Donald Trump, especially in 3 critical states of Michigan, Pennsylvania and Missouri. That's how Trump got elected.
But the real tragedy in all of this are those that voted for 3rd party candidates in this race, (casting their protest vote) believing that Donald Trump could never win. You had young people writing in Bernie Sanders or not voting--Republicans who can't stand Trump who voted for Gary Johnson or another--whom all never once gave a single thought that their 3rd party protest vote would put Donald Trump into the oval office.
I actually saw one protester out there with all the others, who stated he didn't vote, he was a Bernie Sanders fan. Now who in the hell has the right to protest Donald Trump when they didn't even bother to vote?
Clearly this is what happened. That's why for the first time in this nation's history, we have a candidate Hillary Clinton that won the most EVER popular votes (2.5 million) and didn't win the election.
Let's just say we have a lot of STUPID people that vote in this country.
I am certain right now, there are regrets in the millions. Republicans have two years now, to get things done. Because these same democrats won't be there for them in 2018, much less 2020.
The long term damage to the Republican party will be devastating for decades to come. They will be known as the party of bigots, misogynists, corruption, extremism and division. And no one votes for that.
