Don't know about the Security deal. Since they are still considered Royals........might be something there. I don't know.

I am a great friend and admirer of the Queen & the United Kingdom. It was reported that Harry and Meghan, who left the Kingdom, would reside permanently in Canada. Now they have left Canada for the U.S. however, the U.S. will not pay for their security protection. They must pay!

I read somewhere that a POTUS can have dual citizenship (assuming he/she had the US one at birth). To be a member of Congress you need to renounce your other citizenship(s) in order to get a security clearance, but as POTUS you can waive that requirement for yourself.

The United States has no authority to tell the United Kingdom who's a UK citizen or not ...

My understanding is that Meghan Merkle is NOT a UK citizen at this time ... she lived in the UK under a "family visa" ...

Baby Archie can be made a US citizen ... but I don't know if the Duke and Duchess applied for such at the US Consulate yet ... it's not automatically granted to babies born abroad to US citizens ...

I don't think Canada lets her in without a passport ... she sure as anything can't enter the USA if she did ... any consideration of her membership to the Church of England has nothing to do with US Law, under the 1st Amendment ...
