Had O not imposed such horrid domestic policies as Obamacare, higher taxes, stimulus, we would have recovered even faster. The last presidency was a travesty of epic proportions. Thankfully, those policies are gone.

US healthcare spending was already high. In fact it's Republican policy that has healthcare spending so much higher than every other country.

The simple fact is the US federal government spends MORE per person on healthcare than the UK government.

So basically what you're trying to say is that the increased costs for Obamacare were hindering the economy, however the costs of healthcare had he done nothing would have hindered the economy anyway.

Hmm, interesting. Health insurance costs have been increasing steadily over the years. In 2001 the cost was $5,241. By the time Bush left office in 2009 the costs were up at $7,911. Now, that's an increase of $2,670 on average per person. That's more than 50%.

So, blaming Obama for increased healthcare costs because people saw a 50% rise in healthcare costs when they saw a 50% increase in healthcare costs under Bush is rather misleading, don't you think?

"The Kaiser study shows that average family premiums rose 20% from 2011 to 2016. That rate of increase is actually much lower than the previous five years (up 31% from 2006 to 2011) and the five years before that (up 63% from 2001 to 2006)."

Family premiums rose a a lower rate than they had done at the beginning of Bush's time in office.

So, while I don't like Obamacare because it is too expensive, for people who support a non-socialized system of healthcare to be complaining that the costs are rising is a little hypocritical.

I think the Stimulus was handled not very well, however without it many US companies would have gone bust and the recession would have lasted longer.
